Market commentary
Bought at RM Meadow Brook in 2003 for $48,400 and one of the most talked about cars in Ft. Lauderdale. Wonderfully original and not messed with at all. One of the last Studebaker Avantis built and an authentic trophy. The bidding both on site and on the phones was nearly delirious, as this mind stretching result indicates. The next time it sells itll be a hundred thousand dollar car and will drag other R3 Avantis along with it. Expensive historically, but this is what it took to own it, which is called market.
