Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

1st BRM monocoque chassis. Crushed by Graham Hill while leading its first race, subsequently wall decor at the Opposite Lock Club. Eventually restored to the present meticulous standard with 2 liter Tasman version of BRM V8 and very fast.

Market commentary

Comparisons with Damon Hills experiences are out of order. A rare 1 1 2 2 liter Formula 1 car with British Racing Green blood; attempts to export it could expect interdiction by HM Customs. Ever wonder what other great racing cars still hang on the walls of some watering hole
