Equipment
Steel wheels with full wheel covers, narrow whitewalls, radio.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Straight bodywork. Single repaint showing well with a few scattered scratches. Very good recent chrome. Engine compartment is detailed and largely original. Lightly worn interior. Largely original with newer paint and chrome, this is a solid Corvair Monza.
Market commentary
From the Howard and Norma Weaver collection. Thanks to their unconventional layout and lack of a V-8, Corvairs have a much narrower target aucience in the world of classic Chevys, and even the more upscale versions have remained quite cheap. This sound, pretty, well cared for and usable Monza Club Coupe brought a slightly less than market price here. People have spent plenty more than this just on a trip to the Porsche mechanic.
