Equipment

2 liter BMW 4 cylinder power with Weber 45 DCOEs. Restored in 1990, engine last overhauled in 95 with one race (Monterey 95) since. Dusty, cobwebbed, flat tires. Needs comprehensive attention, but probably looks worse than it is.

Market commentary

This cars neglected appearance effectively sale proofed it this weekend; $5,000 spent on detailing and freshening at the race shop would have vastly improved its saleability. While brave buyers stepped up to the plate for Bob Sutherlands more comprehensive projects, the historic racers sat on their hands for this one.
