Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Chrome Borranis (15 front, 16 rear), three nose intakes, driving lights and brake ducts flanking grille, pronounced hood bulge. Factory car built for Michel Paul Cavallier of Pont a Mousson, no racing history. 4 liter Tipo 163 539 outside plug, coil valve spring engine, 4 speed gearbox. Mostly original and impeccably presented.

Market commentary

For a SuperAmerica in GTO clothes with no racing history this is a very significant amount of money but only a harbinger of things to come in the late 80s rush to own Ferraris.
