Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Panasonic AM FM, chrome spoke Borrani wire wheels, covered headlights. Excellent cosmetics including sharp, tight, attractive upholstery. Tidy and like new underhood with just a touch of use and age. A highly attractive and appealingly presented Ferrari restored by Luppi, Zanasi and Ferrari (Suisse).

Market commentary

The curves, ovoids, angles, notches, grooves, planes and intersections of Pininfarinas Coupe Aerodinamicos leave little on the table when it comes to seductive appeal. That and 340hp of 4 liter Ferrari power makes this a seven figure bargain. A GTO would be hard put to keep up on the track. On the concours lawn there is little that comes close (OK, the greenhouse is a little tall.) Bought right, for all the right reasons, even at nearly double its price at Bonhams Gstaad in 2005, a little over two years ago.
