Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Chrome spoke Borranis. A high quality 330 GTO Replica created by Terry Hoyle for Mr. Matsuda who didnt want to risk one of his three real GTOs on the road. Alloy body, 6 Webers and all the right stuff, nicely constructed. Shows some use and age but still clean, attractive and very impressive.

Market commentary

As impressive as a Lusso, even if its a fake GTO. Runs like a train and will be a great car for tours and events as well as the several historic race organizers who now gladly accept quality replicas in lieu of real cars that are too valuable to be used. Well bought for its driving fun value, and much, much less than it would cost to reproduce.
