Market commentary
In appearance this is a multi influenced cross among a GTO, the Breadvan and various Tom Meade specials. In fact, it would not be a surprise to find that Meade had a part in it. Drogo featured prominently in the auctions description, but Piero Drogo had no part in its concept or execution. In fact, its history is only that of a special, rebodied in the late 80s and sold at RMs Monterey auction in 2006 for $275,000. Its as good now as it was then, in both condition and price, and give the new owner a dramatic, interesting, fast Ferrari for a modest price just a few thousand dollars more than the original 250 GTE would be worth today.
