Condition
#1 Concours
World-class. Could compete in the world’s best Concours d'Elegance events.
From the Joe McMurrey collection. NCRS Top Flight. No advertised racing history. Excellent paint and brightwork. The engine is excellent with few signs of use. The underbody is immaculate as is the interior. Only the driver's seat shows minor use. One of 199 built. A beautifully restored Z06 that drew people the entire event.
Market commentary
Sold at Mecum's Bloomington Gold Auction in 2007 for $139,650, then again at Mecum Monterey in 2010 for $159,000. Z06 values have come a long way since both of those sales, and a good Big Tank car can bring half a million dollars. Small Tank cars, which made up the majority of the 199 Z06s built, are worth considerably less, but even so this was a bargain result for a car that could have brought another 50 grand without being expensive.
