Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

4 speed, ex Frank Morris and Jim Adams, Fully documented 1964 Sebring race car prepared by Joe Huffaker at BMCD in San Francisco, with its original FIA aluminum body panels and race engine. Knock off wheels. Known and documented history from new. Interior very nice and clean. Numbers match. Windshield chrome is beginning to pit. Very Nice. What a cool car. No Reserve.

Market commentary

Photos of this car and its 1964 Sebring teammate sold this weekend as lot 132 were swapped in the catalog causing no end of confusion which was not helped by an unclear note added to the cars in the display field. An important and highly correct MG A with race history from new, meticulously restored, documented and presented. This is a sound result, fair to both buyer and seller.
