Condition
RHD. Silver spoke Borranis. Alloy body replica of 151/1 powered by a Mexico V8, probably 4,719cc/290hp. Pretty rough both inside and out but largely faithful to the original and built using period techniques. No Reserve.
Market commentary
Hammered sold on the block but recorded in RM's official results as a no-sale. I've ridden in this car and it's a hoot. It's rough, rugged, rude and scary fast. A race-prepared 5-liter Tipo 151 must be even more impressive but this lightweight alloy-bodied replica is plenty for most mortals to handle. $35,000 is way under the money but $55-60,000 should buy it and in smiles/dollar it would be a good value as well as useful outlet for hours of primping and prepping.
