Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Parnell team built chassis to Lotus design, Lotus suspension. BRM engine gearbox (P62 4) believed to be Hollywood parts from movie Grand Prix. New frame by Peter Denty (original well raced frame included), freshly completed and race ready.

Market commentary

Seems like a lot of money for a chassis with a checkered history and no competition success despite the beautiful and very professional restoration. Brooks thought it was worth more. Lotus 24 BRMs raced through 63 (Revson drove one) with little success.
