Market commentary

After selling his over the top restored Series I 1 2 E type roadster for $115,500 at RMs Monterey auction last August, this consignor thought this early E type which was if anything an even better restoration would bring $150,000. Boy, was he disappointed. The market speaks when your car brings big money, but its a mistake there are no bidders when it doesnt. Wrong. The market speaks. Series 1 1 2s are better cars with more power and seats that riders can stand for more than 30 minutes. Thats where the money is today.
