Equipment
283/160hp, 4-speed, front hub lockouts, heater, AM radio, wood bed floor, rear step bumper.
Condition
One minor scratch above the left front tire. Even gaps, but the passenger's side door handle is loose on the inside. The rest of the interior looks brand new. The bed is Southern Yellow pine done in Lampblack and Linseed oil. Restored, dry and spotless underbody. Nearly flawless engine bay. A two-year body-off restoration with 55 miles and it shows. A very well done, attention-grabbing truck done to slightly better than truck standards.
Market commentary
Sold at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in 2013, right after restoration, for $48,400. That was an enormous price even for a stellar K10 with desirable equipment, so for the consignor to expect the truck to get that kind of money again is a bit unreasonable. The reported high bid got close, though, so if there was money close to it, it could have been taken with little or no regret.
