Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

409 380hp, 4 speed, metallic brakes, heavy duty suspension, spot light. Aftermarket period correct gauges installed into the dash panel. Factory broadcast sheet verified options. Good repaint and mechanically rebuilt, otherwise mostly original. Exterior and interior is straight and presentable, engine bay is neglected and needs restoration or at least thorough detailing. Evidence of rust on left and right fenders which is concealed by hood when it is closed. From the Prizer Collection, whose representative stated that this car originally was ordered as an a company car for a Mobil Oil executive. A very special Chevy.

Market commentary

A highly unusual Q ship Chevy that will be fun to own and drive and will get more attention than a shiny Impala loaded with options. At this price it is a sound value, if only for its conversation starting attributes.
