Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Steel wheels, factory hardtop. Once owned by Bruce Reynolds, one of the Great Train Robbery gang; bought with ill gotten gains. Documented history. Appears to have had a cosmetic restoration some time ago and is showing its age but in good and usable overall condition.

Market commentary

This is an exceptional price for a BT7 that owes at least a third of its value to its Great Train Robber history. Theres a tinge of Robin Hood about the Great Train Robber gang and that will always set this otherwise ordinary BT7 apart. Its expensive but will retain its cachet.
