Generously priced but so wonderfully presented the bidders enthusiasm for it is understandable. Sometimes a car is so pretty, not only inherently but how it is presented, to have it and be able to show and drive it absolutely confident in its quality and rarity is worth a 10% or even 20% premium. That seems to have been the case here and the bidders judgment takes precedence.
