Becker Mexico radio. Iron block disc brakes. Cosmetically restored to nearly new standards, good cosmetics. A good driver, but no show car.

Market commentary

A very generous price for a good, but not exceptiol, 300SL Roadster. $170 180,000 would seem like it should have bought the car, but maybe the bidders were comparing their expenditure to $140K for an XK120 Roadster at Christies in Pebble Beach two weeks ago. By that measure this was a heck of a good deal, but only by that standard.
