About Hagerty’s condition ratingsClose

Mediocre repaint, especially on the hardtop, dirty underbody and engine compartment. Good upholstery but pitted interior and dash chrome. An auction car represented as two owners from new.

Market commentary

190SLs have been bringing some bizarre prices in mid 6-figures and in this context this results is a return to a semblance of reality. It's still expensive for an auction-restored Weber-carbureted 190SL, but not like some other recent transactions that defy rationality for a 105hp boulevard cruiser.
