Equipment
Whitewall tires.
Condition
#1 Concours
World-class. Could compete in the world’s best Concours d'Elegance events.
Completely restored to better than new condition, now with only minor wear. Paint is unreal with absolutely no errors, brightwork is perfect. Glass has only some bad date code wonkiness on the windshield.
Market commentary
This one busted through its already high estimate of $60,000 to set what must be a world record for a "Kennedy" Lincoln sedan. All that said, if someone handed you a decent example of a 1961 Continental and a check for $88,000, you would have trouble making your car this nice. I''''d hate to see the bill spent on chrome and stainless trim for this car; suffice it to say that a large fortune was spent.
