Market commentary
With all the trouble of a mid 70s car but none of the class, a Kougar is a strange animal. It wont pass as a true classic nor perform like either a modern car; caught instead between 30s styling and 1970s technology. Worst of all is a snicker inducing name whose awkwardness became painfully apparent when the auctioneer barked who wants a Kougar for 69 to the considerable amusement of the Gooding audience. This is undoubtedly a fun car to drive. Just dont let anyone see you do it and never tell them you spent $74,800 for the privilege.
