Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Silver spoke Borranis, 4 point belts, rollbar. Very well presented Le Mans spec SEFAC Hot Rod with recent historic racing history. Originally Scuderia Serenissima driven by Carlo Abate with Le Mans and Sebring history among others. Restored for Richard Freshman with most of its original bodywork preserved by Fantuzzi. Original engine block comes with the car. Excellent fit and finish with only minimal evidence of enthusiastic use.

Market commentary

Reported sold after the auction at an undisclosed amount. This is a terrific car, superbly restored, maintained and race prepared by professionals, brilliantly presented and with GTO performance at a fraction of the price. Some arm twisting, maybe a little finagling on commissions and voila! A sale.
