Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Factory built experimental SWB with lightweight aerodynamic bodywork, very SuperAmerica ish. 3 Weber 40DCOEs, with original 46DCOEs included, chrome Borranis. No racing history. Good older paint and interior, clean throughout. Exceptionally well proportioned and attractive coachwork; this car has no, thats NO, bad angles. Its beautiful from every view.

Market commentary

Sold to a commission bid, at a price thats very impressive even for a competition SWB in todays market but more than justified by its specification and svelte Pininfarina attire. A traffic stopper at any event or venue, with continuous history. Bought by Harley Cluxton and ended up with Peter Sachs (at Cavallino 01 04)
