Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Alloy wheels, 2.7 Indy engine. An unnumbered Cooper built chassis assembled by Sid Hoole with Mark II style bodywork. Coil spring suspension. A very pretty and well presented race car. David Cronenberg collection.

Market commentary

A rare opportunity to acquire a raceable car without period history, thus worth a lot less, but not lacking in acceptability or performance potential. A comprehensive wreck, other than lightening the wallet for repairs, affects the value not a whit and makes cars like this good value for money if the intent is to work them out like Cooper intended.
