Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

One of three entered by Briggs Cunningham at Sebring in 1961, driven by Bruce McLaren to win the 3 Hours race. Later driven by Walt Hansgen at Bridgehampton in September, finishing fourth overall, second in class, in the 400km race. Restored by Nino Epifani, class winner at Pebble Beach in 2002 and still presented in essentially excellent freshly restored condition and better than new.

Market commentary

This is a choice car that rings all the right bells including an authentic intertiol race winning history. Many Fiat Abarths lived out their lives in club racing, making this one of the best in both preparation and history and a sound value at this price.
