Clean and correct Beetle with new carb, new generator, new distributor and mostly original other than a repaint in 1995 and a new windshield. Good paint finish with a few blisters on the left rear and some scuffs around the engine cover, sound chrome other than light pitting around the signal lenses. Very clean unrestored engine. Good interior with newer seat covers but otherwise original.

Market commentary

This is a solid, honest, well-kept and well-optioned early-ish Beetle but the price favors the buyer here. It could have brought closer to 30 grand without being out of the ordinary.
