Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Paint has some burn-through on the panel edges and is cracked behind the rear passenger door, brightwork is dinged and hazed, rechromed bumpers, restored underhood that needs detailing, unrestored underbody, aged dash, upholstery and carpet are excellent.
Market commentary
Inconceivable that, at twice the going rate, this car wasn't sold. Late 1950s and early 1960s GM station wagons have done very well at auction this year, but this is a lot of money for a four-door post station wagon.
