Equipment
Chrome spoke Borrani wire wheels, Michelin X tires.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Sound older repaint, weak chrome, dirty wheels, good replaced interior with surface cracked original passenger's knee pad. Orderly, largely original, oily and aged engine compartment. Unstamped engine block, 486F internal number, timing chain cover stamped 1981GT. A driver quality Cab II, and that's not a bad thing.
Market commentary
The Series II Pinin Farina cabriolets represent one of the great values among V-12 Ferraris -- if there is such a thing as a 'great value' where these avidly collected cars are concerned. Beautiful lines, healthy performance and handling and rarity with only about 200 built. This one is a bit the worse for wear, but still beautiful to behold, and it can be driven without undue concern for the occasional stone chip. There is real value in this Cab 2 at this price.
