Market commentary
This car was sold by RM at its first Maranello auction in 2007 for $2,820,246, partially restored with the restoration by Ferrari Classiche included in the price. At the time I thought the acquisition was fraught with risks and potential conflict among the seller, Classiche and the buyer. It has now been conclusively proved to be worth the risk. This is an awesome price for a re stamped engine SWB, let alone one restored to this flawed condition.
