Equipment
Inline dual quads, automatic, power steering, power brakes, power windows, swivel bucket seats, pushbutton radio, dual rear antennas, wheel covers, whitewall radial lines, dual outside mirrors.
Condition
Cut to make a convertible that DeSoto didnt offer in 1960, Adventurer trim added Good clearcoat paint, good interior, chrome and top Underbody is orderly but not restored to the same extent as the top of the car Good engine compartment was restored like new but now shows some age and use Better than a driver, but not by a lot
Market commentary
The engine setup is not a factory option, which offered the cross ram dual quad Adventurer, but not an inline 2x4 intake. On top of that, there were no 1960 DeSoto convertibles. The new owner (and the underbidder) had to be DeSoto fanatics to blow this much on a fantasy. Looks good, but an Adventurer it isnt, by a long shot.
