Equipment

Single sail vent, open headlight, alloy body, hood scoop, outside fuel filler, sliding side window competition TdF sold first to Carlo Abate. 1959 MM Rally winner, 5th in TdF, GT winner at 1000km Nurburgring and Mt. Ventoux hillclimb. Older repaint, fresh engine rebuild by DK Engrg, otherwise impressively original and in excellent condition.

Market commentary

Happily sold in Euros at the beginning of 2003, had this TdF brought the same Euro bid in early 2002 it would have been something like $964,000, a much more reasonable price.
