Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome Borranis, fog lights, outside fuel filler. Aluminum body, 136 liter fuel tank. Re numbered non original outside plug engine. Restored after a fire by Toni Auto and Bachelli & Villa in Italy. Like new throughout, with even gaps and flush panels. Doors close well but drivers door scrapes a little on the sill. Clean chassis. A pristine example of a quality restoration.

Market commentary

This is a good example of a deliciously configured Ferrari, in excellent condition, that is burdened with a checkered history. Buyers willing to part with 3 4 of a million dollars for it are probably few and far between; most look at the restored from a charred skeleton history, even though its most assuredly beautifully restored, and choose instead to keep their money earning interest until a no stories Cal Spyder shows up.
