Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chip guarded nose. Excellent paint, chrome and glass. Clean chassis. Seats lightly creased and show wear. Converted to covered lights during an early 90s restoration by Bob Smith Coachworks which also saw it reunited with its original engine block. First owned by Prince Vittoria Emanuele de Savoia, pretender to the Italian throne. First in class at Pebble Beach in 1991 driven on the Colorado Grand several times.

Market commentary

Offered by RM at Monterey in 1998 where it was a $510,000 no sale. This result is on the money.
