Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Originally delivered to Luigi Innocenti. Re created from an engineless derelict hulk found in a New Orleans junkyard. New bodywork with covered headlights, Cal Spyder inside plug engine, Koni shocks (Houdailles included). Just repainted and engine rebuilt and converted to unleaded. Some other original parts included. Chrome Borranis, P W. Good cosmetics, some interior wear. Good panel fits and even gaps.

Market commentary

Hammered sold but later kicked by the high bidder for not being as described. Brooks and the seller represented this car as no more than what it is, a new car built up from the chassis, suspension and chassis plate. Its hard to imagine what the buyer found that upset the apple cart but he maintains both Brooks and the seller accepted his evaluation.
