Market commentary
This appears to be a negotiated transaction, the reported result converting to the unlikely hammer bid of +91,040. A charming combition of Coopers solid and practical design and Maseratis 2.5 liter 4 cylinder power and a welcome entrant in historic GP races, there is real value in this car at the UK + price although todays dollar equivalent is rich. Two years ago +103,500 would have been about $148,000, a much more realistic value.
