Market commentary
The owner, who acknowledged he went way overboard on this Bugeye, has something like double the high bid in this beyond perfect piece. That does not, however, make it worth any more than a Bugeye: $17 18,000 in the most perfect of condition. It goes home to rejoin its Healey siblings in the consignors garage, valued more than money ... or garage space.
