Equipment

Replica of DBR4 2 which was destroyed by Aston Martin. Constructed from many correct, and very rare, original parts including 2.5 liter GP engine, transaxle and 95 degree head. DBR4 1 used as the pattern for chassis, rear bodywork and other details. Ran and drove in the early 80s but now disassembled for many years and sold as is; needs major work and assembly.

Market commentary

This will be a great historic GP ride, with recognized history and no contender for its position in the 4 car Aston Martin DBR4 sequence and should be a solid investment if only because of the strength of the market for important British race cars and the historic GP tradition there. No one else will care, but the Brits will line the fences and cheer even for a replica.
