Chrome spoke Borrani outside laced wire wheels, Moto Lita woodrim steering wheel, outside fuel fill, no bumpers, dash mounted clock, chronometer. Good paint and interior. Sympathetically restored to like new condition with little age or use evident. One of four lightweights built originally by Aston Martin in that configuration but never raced. Known ownership history from new. Restoration begun by Charles Turner in 1988 finally completed in 2002 by the present owner with subtle performance, reliability and safety improvements.
Market commentary
Jack Boxstroms love of Aston Martins keeps them coming back to RM auctions and bringing healthy prices. This is no exception. It may be one of the most attractive, and effective, dual purpose GTs in the world and is a very reasonable value at this price.
