Condition
912 engine and carburetors. Very good, paint, chrome and interior. Underbody has been redone like new, undercoated and driven some. Excellent panel fit with flush fits and tight, even gaps. Filled fenders, lower doors and cowl.
Market commentary
Offered by RM in Monterey in 2008 with a high bid of $170,000 before the fresh cosmetics, the later engine, while adding to the driving experience, detracts from its collector value. Even at that the high bid here is light in the context of current 356A Speedster values, but not by much.
