The fourth of four exceptional Fifties Oldsmobiles from a single collection, all of which brought record or near record prices and deserved every penny. Doubling the low estimate doesnt happen very often; nearly doubling the high estimate is almost unheard of. Mark this one down as an extraordinary transaction but it bought an extraordinary car.
