Market commentary
Sold at Mecum's Dallas auction in 2016 for $33,000 and brought a bit less here but still a generous result for a mediocre car. Its cute factor far outweighs any practical considerations and its yellow and white livery makes it look good enough to lick, like a lemon creamsicle. Rationality is rarely a factor in cute cars like Metropolitans.
