Replacement engine. Repainted with some new chrome, otherwise tired, dirty and original. The original leather is heavily surface cracked. The paint must have been truly awful to result in a repaint. No evidence of any material body filler, though.
Market commentary
An unappealing car that despite (or on account of) its originality is waiting for a comprehensive restoration that the 190SL market today can't justify. It will have to sell for a lot less than this to be an economic proposition.
