Equipment

RHD (conversion). An original 3.4 liter S but with a replacement engine from a Jag Mark X sedan. Chrome wire wheels, three SU carbs, driving lights, badge bar. Decent paint, good chrome and newer interior.

Market commentary

The replacement engine successfully removes any temptation to spit shine and over restore this XK150 S for the show ccrcuit. Instead just take it out and drive, which is how theyre best used anyway. The UK+ price is reasonable but its unlikely that a similarly re engined example would bring this much in dollars in the US.
