Equipment

RHD. Modified rear like an SWB added in 1976. Covered headlights, alloy front fender vents, single sail panel vent. Restored to good historic racing and road event standards with recent interior. Driven in 2005 Mille Miglia and apparently got whacked, requiring extensive front and rear body repairs before the auction.

Market commentary

No sale at Sothebys Monaco in 2001 and withdrawn from last summers RM Monterey auction. The recent accident history left the Fiorano bidders scratching their heads ... which Sothebys auctioneer did not interpret as bidding. On site results provided by Marcel Massini.
