Market commentary
RM sold an identically numbered Aston at Amelia in 2000 that isnt anywhere similar with this car (other than model and chassis number) and totally inconsistent with the ownership and restoration history in todays catalog, calling it a DBD spec 180 hp triple SU engine. RMs (ratty) car brought only $42,900, a far cry from the price brought by this exceptionally well presented and prepared example. Go figure.
