Market commentary
Just about the ultimate Speedster, sympathetically restored in 1996 and showing little evidence of use since. Even at that, however, its fair to say the amount reportedly bid today is ALL the money for the car. In this high powered form the Speedster bodys rigidity shortcomings begin to overwhelm the charm of high speed open air driving. If there was money anywhere close to this bid it should have been grabbed.
