About Hagerty’s condition ratingsClose

The original paint looks OK with lots of chips, cracks and scratches. Weather stripping around the windshield is dried and cracked. The brightwork looks very good other than some pitting on the mirrors. The interior is holding up very well other than some wear on the driver's seat. The engine compartment is showing its age. The underbody is showing age, wear, and tear. An unrestored 220 sedan, a rarely seen car in this country in any kind of condition.

Market commentary

The novelty value alone is worth the price paid here which represents a small but rational premium for originality and preservation.
