Equipment

Painted wire wheels, Stage I Climax with 2 SUs, disc brakes, deDion rear suspension. Chassis number lost, has Historic Lotus Register and FIA papers. Mechanically restored, runs and drives, bodywork complete but needs finishing. Road registered.

Market commentary

Lotus XI is one of the nicest vintage race cars around and is priced accordingly: up to $75,000 for a good one, more with history. This partially completed restoration seems well bought and will be both a fun driver and a good investment.
