Equipment
312/245hp, automatic, wheel covers, whitewalls, fender skirts, Town & Country radio, dash clock.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Paint is cracking on the driver's side just above the rear taillight. The passenger's side headlight housing is misaligned to the front fender. Bumpers have been rechromed but the window trim is dull with slight pitting. The soft top has been replaced and shows no damage but is dirty. No hardtop included. Seats are showing dirt with mild wear. The engine is correct and complete. Engine compartment is mostly original other than a newer battery. Looks as if nothing else has been touched and no detailing was done. The undercarriage shows a moderate amount of dirt and wear. The driver's side rear undercarriage shows that some work may have been done. Represented as an older restoration but it looks very old, and it's original underneath.
Market commentary
With no hard top and plenty of flaws to pick on, this car was no stunner, and there were five other Baby Birds to choose from in Auburn. The price here was favorable to the buyer, who bid shrewdly and paid the kind of money that would ordinarily buy a significantly worse example.
