Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome spoke Borranis, driving lights, SF shields. Restored in the US in the late 80s, suspension just rebuilt by Ferrari Classiche, interior redone. A clean, sharp driver with very nice, fresh interior with only a little seat stretch. Ferrari Classiche certified.

Market commentary

Offered at the Tokyo Auction in 1992, then reported sold by Coys at a Nurburgring auction a few months later for $49,394. Until a few months ago Boano Ellena 250 GTs were affordable Ferraris, ideal for participation in the many events their age and competition history make them eligible for. Well, theyre affordable no more, not even to a Euro or Pound based buyer.
